Commissions

A painting by a Duluth MN artist depicts two men in formal attire shaking hands against the backdrop of the Chinese and American flags, symbolizing a diplomatic encounter between the two countries.

Jeffrey T. Larson accepts a limited number of commissions each year. It starts with a conversation followed by thoughtful consideration. If it is an idea or project that he feels drawn to and that he believes could create a striking piece, more involved discussions take place. Eventually, small studies are done that will help give a tangible idea of what it will look like and further discussions take place. If the studies are involved or complex, a small fee might be required. Size, pricing and the timeframe needed to complete the work will be determined at this time.

Jeffrey has worked with clients to create a broad spectrum of projects including portraits, still lifes of particular and/or meaningful subject matter, landscapes featuring specific locations, and historical and allegorical pieces.

If you have an idea and are curious, please reach out with a description. Clients find the experience of being involved in the creation of a truly personal piece of artwork both meaningful and exciting.

Shipping

Each painting will be carefully wrapped, boxed and shipped fully insured by the artist until it arrives, is inspected and signed for. Shipping rates will be passed on along with a nominal fee (to be discussed prior) to cover the packaging.
